Narrative
Woutrina (Rina) Antonia Uitvlugt was born September 9, 1916 in Cuyahoga County, Cleveland,Ohio to Jacob and Anna Uitvlugt. She was their oldest child. In 1922 she moved with her parents to South Boardman, Michigan. She attended school in South Boardman, and graduated from Fife Lake High School. She later went to work as a clerk in the general store of South Boardman.
In 1968 she became the County Clerk of Kalkaska County, Michigan and was thus employed at the time of her death. Rina expired on May 13, 1978 at her home. She is buried in the Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County, Michigan.
Rina lovingly cared for her mother after her father passed away. She was also a "second" mother to Anna, the youngest child of Jacob and Anna. Rina never ceased to love and care for each member of "her family".
